Configure Network access

1. Using eLocker at the College

The eLocker app will be used heavily this year. To set it up:

  1. Install the eLocker app from the App Store
  2. Run eLocker
  3. Select eLocker from the left hand side menu.
  4. Enter your College username and password.
  5. in the URL field enter: learn.redlands.qld.edu.au
  6. Select Login.

As long as the details you have entered were correct, you will then be logged in.

 

2. Using WebDav at the College using the WebDav Nav app

 
Using WebDav, the user is able to access files at the College using their username and password. You should be aware however, that any file accessed is NOT modified at the College, rather on the iPad alone. You will need to upload your file back to the College in order to overwrite it.
 
Using the free App WebDav Nav
 
  1. Start WebDav Nav
  2. Tap the + icon (top right)
  3. In Name enter: Redlands College
  4. In URL enter (case sensitive): https://webdav.redlands.qld.edu.au/oneNet/NetStorage
  5. In the User ID field enter your College username e.g: B09987
  6. In the password field enter your password.
  7. Select Save.

Now click on the new account you have created. You will be able to access all your College files.

 

3. Set up Pages, Keynote or Numbers for College access.

  1. Open Pages, Keynote or Numbers. (If you have a document open, close it by selecting "Documents" from the top left hand side.)
  2. Select the "+" sign from the top left hand side of the screen
  3. Select 'Copy from WebDav'
  4. Enter the following into the Server address field (case sensitive):
    https://webdav.redlands.qld.edu.au/oneNet/NetStorage
  5. In the User Name field enter your College user name. e.g. B09987.
  6. In the Password field, enter your password.

    You will now have access to files located on the College network.

 

4. Set up Accelerated Reader.

(This only needs to be completed upon request by your teacher - It can be left out otherwise)

  1. Open the Accelerated Reader application on your iPad.
  2. Tap on the Connect to My Renaissance Place button.
  3. Tap on the Connect to Renaissance Place text field, and type in the following, in uppercase letters: RC-70YV
  4. Tap the Join button on the on screen keyboard.
  5. Press the Done button
  6. You can now type in your log-in details.
