This iPad workflow examines poetry. Firstly, students demonstrate their prior knowledge of poetry via the WordCloud app and discuss on Edmodo. Students then analyse graphical elements and poetic structure using Shel Silverstein’s animated poems. They then compose a simple poem using the Poetry Magnets app. Students lastly build on the simple poem to cre- ate an original graphical poem, in video format, that can be shared and viewed by others. 

Apps used: Edmodo, Safari, Shelmovies, Poetry Magnets, WordCloud, SonicPic Lite and Pages.
